Terms of Use

The terms and limitations that apply when using UsefulUtilities tools and content.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Using the service

UsefulUtilities provides general-purpose software tools and explanatory material. You may use the service for lawful purposes and must not attempt to disrupt it, bypass reasonable safeguards or use it to harm another person or system.

Check important results

Results can be affected by input errors, rounding, implementation defects and assumptions described on a tool page. Verify important outputs against an authoritative source. The service is not a substitute for qualified engineering, medical, legal, financial, security or other professional advice.

Sensitive information

Do not submit secrets or confidential information to a server-processed tool. A tool is local-only only when its interface explicitly says so. You are responsible for deciding whether information is suitable for the selected tool.

Availability and changes

The service may change, move or remove features and may be unavailable from time to time. Reasonable efforts are made to avoid breaking established links, but uninterrupted availability is not promised.

Intellectual property and external material

The UsefulUtilities interface and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Referenced standards, third-party libraries and external sites remain subject to their own licences and terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, UsefulUtilities is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
